Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Sciences (formerly Speech Communication):
This program provides an increased understanding and practice in the ways that humans accomplish their goals by means of oral communication. The ability to communicate effectively with others in personal, social, and work situations is basic in modern society. The flexibility of the program allows preparation for a variety of careers such as law, education, business, agriculture, administration, and the health-related fields. Speech Communication lends itself readily to a simultaneous degree or a multiple major degree program in which students prepare themselves in several fields of study.

Bachelor of Arts in English (ENGCC):
The ENGCC program teaches students to explore the imaginative and practical uses of English through courses in literature, writing, rhetoric, and language. Students develop perspectives on human nature and cultural values through American, British, and other English literatures; they learn how to gather, analyze, synthesize, and communicate information; they gain mastery over their language. Graduates of this program may find careers in such fields as publishing, business, industry, government, and teaching. English majors often go on to postgraduate study not only in English but in such areas as law, business, education, and other liberal disciplines.

Bachelor of Arts in Letters, Arts, and Sciences (LASCC):
The LASCC is a multidisciplinary, theme-oriented, student-designed major. The program provides an interdisciplinary, cross-cultural education that will lead to intellectual development in the areas of science, communications, the arts, literature and the humanities, and intercultural affairs. Students in this program will learn to think critically, problem solve, develop competence in computer technology and communication, develop skills in conducting research, be able to communicate effectively, be life-long learners, be active participants in contemporary society, and will have the communications and thinking skills valued by potential employers. They will also be good candidates for entry into graduate schools, medical schools, and law schools.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BBACC):
The BBACC is designed to help students become flexible business professionals, equipped to adapt to the changing workplace of the future. Students develop a state-of-the-art general knowledge base in business administration, strong written and verbal communication skills, and technological skills. This program will give students a broad base of knowledge, and also experience in disciplines includingaccounting, economics, management, marketing, finance and business law. Students also will select an 18-credit option, which will help them prepare for a specific employment sector.

Bachelor of Science in Electro-Mechanincal Engineering Technology (EMET):
The EMET program provides the basic undergraduate education required for a career as an electro-mechanical engineering technologist. The program emphasizes a breadth of knowledge in all fields of engineering technology related to manufacturing, production, and assembly plant processes, instrumentation, monitoring methods, machine design, automated control techniques, thermal and fluid sciences, computerized manufacturing systems, principles of electrical and electronic circuit operation, computer-aided drafting and design, economics of production, and statistical analysis and quality control.

Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences and Technology (IST):
The IST program is structured to provide students with the theoretical framework and skills necessary to compete and be productive in the information technology-intensive global context that defines the new "Information Age." The  program focuses on building an understanding of core information technologies and related areas of study; preparing students for the practical application of various information sciences and related technologies; and engaging students in sharpening their abilities to think critically and to work in teams. All this will be done with considerable interdisciplinary integration in order to expose students to the cognitive, social, institutional, and global environments of IST. Through the choice of various options, students will be able to learn the skills necessary to develop advanced information technology systems using state-of-the-art tools and techniques, and to prepare students to use information technology to realize a variety of system-based goals. 

Bachelor of Science in Science (BSSC):
The BSSC degree program provides a multi-disciplinary science education that can lead to specialization in either in the Life Sciences or General Science and also to the development of expertise in a wide variety of specialized foci. After completing foundation courses in calculus, chemistry, physics, and the life sciences, students will select additional courses that will give them a focus in areas such as General Life Sciences, Environmental Life Sciences, Cell and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Applied Math, Applied Physics, or General Science.  Students can also choose from a variety of non-science supporting courses that will give them additional background in such areas as IST, Business, Communications, or Liberal Arts. The BS SC program prepares students for a variety of careers in the sciences, as well as for entry into graduate school and professional school. It also provides the necessary broad scientific education which, when combined with specific electives, produces graduates who are prime candidates for jobs in non-traditional science-related areas, such as business, lab management, patent and intellectual property law, IST, and liberal arts-related work (communications, publishing, science writing, illustrations, etc.).
