Day 1 Friday, March 4 - Departure

Depart from Philadelphia airport to Paris. Overnigt flight with Air France.

Day 2 Saturday, March 5 - Paris

On arrival, transfer to your hotel located on the left bank, in the Montparnasse district. Remainder of the day at leisure. Enjoy a bus tour with Cityrama or Paris Vision. It is the best way for an overview of the city in order to select all the places you will visit in detail later.

Day 3 Sunday, March 6 - Paris

Day at leisure. Take advantage of the free entrance to the Louvre on the first Sunday of each month. The museum is open from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Be there early!

Day 4 Monday, March 7 - Paris

Day at leisure. Among many areas you may want to see today "Le Marais", "Place des Vosges", the Ile Saint Louis and Ile de La Cite", Notre Dame. Walk around the Latin Quarter where students and intellectuals meet in the Cafes of Saint Michel, Saint Germain or Montparnasse. Museums are closed either on Mondays or Tuesdays. The Orsay Museum closes on Mondays.

Day 5 Tuesday, March 8 - Paris

Day at leisure. Today could be reserved to go to the Champs Elysees, see the Arch of Triumph, the Eiffel Tower in the morning, then Montmartre, the Sacre Coeur, and Place du Tertre in the afternoon.

Day 6 Wednesday, March 9 - Paris

Day at leisure. Enjoy a day in Versailles to see the sumptuous Palace of Louis XIV, its gardens, The Grand and the Petit Trianon, as well as the Hamlet of Marie Antoinette. Take the train to Versailles Rive Gauche leaving from Gare St. Michel.

Day 7 Thursday, March 10 - Paris

Day at leisure. Full day exursion to the Loire Valley. Depending on the final group size we'll have a private tour or we'll go with Cityrama or Paris Vision.

Day 8 Friday, March 11 - Paris

Day at leisure in Paris.

Day 9 Saturday, March 12 - Return

Transfer to the Charles de Gaulle airport for your return flight to Philadelphia.

The price for the Paris trip - from $1,145.00

The Price Includes:

Round trip flights from Philadelphia to Paris with Air France.
Airport and security taxes @ approximately $100.00.
Seven nights hotel accommodation, double occupancy, Hotel Bleu Marine in Montparnasse district.
Buffet breakfast daily.
Airport/hotel/airport transfers on arrival and departure.
Assistance of Ms. Flinchbaugh during your stay.

Everyone needs a valid passport. In case you are not an American citizen a visa may be required.

Friends, family of Penn State students, faculty, and employees are welcome on our trips.

Terms and Conditions

Your deposit will assure your reservation with Air France and the Hotel Bleu Marine in Paris. Your deposit must be sent with a copy of your passprt, registration and the optional travel insurance premium if you choose so.

Balance due no later than November 25, 2004

These policies must strictly apply.
In case of cancellation for medical reasons penalties will be covered under "Access America" travel insurance. Pre-existing conditions are covered only if insurance has been submitted with your deposit.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing. We strongly recommend that you avail yourself with travel insurance as a protection against these penalties. Please check with Celestial Voyagers for travel insurance plans and premiums.
Following penalties will apply:

$150.00 processing fee if written cancellation is received prior to January 7, 2005.
50 percent of total price for cancellations January 8 - Feb.4
100 percent of total price for cancellations after February 5 and in case of no-show.
