Day 1
Friday, March 6 - Departure |
Depart from Newark airport to Paris. Overnight flight
with Continental.

Day 2 Saturday, March 7 - Paris |
On arrival, transfer to your hotel located on the Grands
Boulevards in the 9th district, by Rue Montmartre.
Start exploring your neighborhood: Walk to the Opera,
Madeleine Church, Concorde Square and Place
Vendome.

| Day 3 Sunday, March 8 - Paris |
You may want to visit the Louvre Museum. It is less
than twenty minutes walk from your hotel as you follow
the rue de Richelieu. Today, entrance is free as it is the
first Sunday of the month. Be there early !

| Day 4 Monday, March 9 - Paris |
Among many areas you may want to see today “Le
Marais” ,“Place des Vosges”, the Ile Saint Louis and
Ile de La Cité”, Notre Dame. Walk around the Latin
Quarter where students and intellectuals meet in the
Cafés of Saint Michel, Saint Germain or
Montparnasse. Museums are closed either on
Mondays or Tuesdays. The Orsay museum closes on
Mondays.

| Day 5 Tuesday, March 10 - Paris |
There is much more to see in Paris: the Champs
Elysées, the Eiffel Tower, the Sacré Coeur at
Montmartre. You could also take a ride on the famous
T.G.V., the famous French fast train which in less
than 3 hours could take you to Dijon, Lyon, Reims or
Strasbourg. Or you can experience the Eurostar which
goes to England under the English Channel and spend
the day in London.

| Day 6 Wednesday, March 11 - Paris |
Enjoy a day in Versailles to see the splendid Palace of
Louis XIV, its gardens, the Grand and the Petit
Trianon as well as the Hamlet of Marie Antoinette.
The train to Versailles Rive Gauche leaves from Gare
St. Michel.

| Day 7 Thursday, March 12 - Paris |
Full day excursion to the Loire Valley. This optional
tour leaves at 7:00 a.m. and returns at 7:00 p.m.. It
includes a photo stop at Chambord, the visit of
Chenonceau and a stop in the small town of Amboise.
The price is $95 with a minimum of fifteen passengers.

| Day 8 Friday, March 13 - Paris |
Last day in Paris for shopping or see that last little
museum you did not want to miss!

| Day 9 Saturday, March 14 - Return |
Transfer to the Charles de Gaulle airport for your
return flight to Newark.

| Cost information for Paris trip |
The price for the Paris trip - $1755 (double/triple room, including airport taxes).
The Price Includes:
- Round trip flights from Newark to Paris with
CONTINENTAL AIRLINES.
- Airport, security taxes and “Q” tax for fuel
surcharge at $445, subject to adjustment at
time of ticketing.
- Transfers between CDG airport and hotel.
- Seven nights accommodation with double or triple
room @ Hotel Mercure Ronceray.
- Buffet breakfast daily.
- Assistance of Suzanne Flinchbaugh during your
stay in Paris.
The Price Does Not Include:
- Single room supplement + $630.
- Possible day excursions by speed train(T.G.V) to go to Dijon, Strasbourg, Reims or London.
- Possible day excursion to Normandy with
either Cityrama or Parisvision.
- Optional day to Loire Valley + $95 (minimum fifteen participants).
- Entrance fees to museums.
- Meals other than specified.
- Cost of personal items: phone, drinks, etc.
- Optional travel insurance covering trip cancellation in case of medical reasons.
- Passport and visa fees. Everyone needs a passport valid until September 14, 2009. If you are not an American citizen, a visa may be
required, and a green card is compulsory.
Family of Penn State students, faculty, and staff are welcome on our trips.

Terms and Conditions

Your deposit will assure your reservation with the
airline, the hotel and other suppliers. Your deposit must
be sent with your copy of your passport, the
registration here enclosed and the optional travel
insurance premium if you choose so.

Payments
|
Deposit $150.
Balance due no later than November 16, 2008.
All payments to be made by check to Celestial Voyagers escrow account
Your deposit will assure your reservation with the airline, the hotel and other suppliers.
Your deposit must be sent with a copy of your passport, the registration here enclosed and
the optional travel insurance premium if you choose so.

Cancellations
|
All cancellations must be received in writing:
- $150 non refundable processing fee.
- Penalty of 50% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received between January 5 and February 1, 2009.
- Penalty of 100% of the cost of the trip if written
cancellation is received after February 2, 2009 and in
case of a no-show.
These policies must strictly apply.
In case of cancellation for medical reasons, penalties
will be covered under “ACCESS AMERICA” travel
insurance. Pre-existing conditions are covered only if
insurance has been submitted with your deposit.

One reservation form per passenger is necessary. This form is available inside each brochure. Fill in the form and mail it with your deposit, copy of your passport if available, and the optional travel insurance to:

You can also register on line at www.celestialvoyagers.com. Then you must mail your deposit within seven days with copy of your passport, if available, and the optional travel insurance. You will receive a
confirmation with your statement of account a
few days later. Be sure to include your choice of roommate in approriate box.
