Penn State York raised $9,775,139 in an endowment building campaign that ran from July 1, 1996 through June 30, 2003. The Penn State York Grand Destiny Campaign was part of a University-wide campaign that raised $1.373 billion during the same time period. As a result of the Penn State York campaign, fourteen new scholarship endowments were created, two faculty funds endowed and one community partnership endowment established. In addition, the campus received a pledged youth programs endowment and a pledged professorship in science.
