Blue and White Society - funding to offset the cost of all-day trip to University Park for the Blue-White game and tailgate party on April 24. Requested: $32/student x 55 seats = $1,750. Received: $42/student x 55 seats $2,310 w/refundable $10 reservation fee. Rationale: students will get free trip to the game.
Unity Week Planning Committee – funding for Unity Week April 12-16, day and evening programming. Requested: $2,500 with another $2,500 proposal going to the Diversity Committee. Received: $2,500. Rationale: program has been growing through the years and is open to the entire campus community.
Reconsideration of Powerlifting Club proposal from February – requests funding for a second night of hotel rooms given that the competition doesn’t end until 9:00 p.m. Requested: $291. Received: $291 which is actually only $162 over the original amount granted.
