Student Activity Fee Meeting Minutes

Present: Sharon Christ, Krupali Desai, Matthew Dunlap, Andy Landis, Kiran Mody, Joe Royer, Gabrielle Santini, Matthew Sutton, and Husing Vang

  1. New Business

    1. 2009-10 Budget balance on November 9, 2009: $117,205

    2. Due to non-attendance, Todd Gutierrez and Kashmira Kundargi have stepped off the committee. Kiran Mody is a new member. One other student member is needed. Recommendations are welcome.
  2. Proposals

    1. Advising and Career Center (ACC) - funds for transportation to the CPEC Career Fair in Camps Hill in February and two career fairs at University Park in March. Requested: $560. Received: $560. Discussion: precedent set; open to all students.

    2. Jason Kilmer/Student Affairs - funding for 2 coach buses to the 76ers game on January 15 as a THON event. Requested: one bus @ $1020 x 2 = $2,040 total, if needed. Received: up to $2,040. Discussion: good use of SAF funds.
