Program Requirements
The Bachelor of Science degree program at Penn State York offers
two options:
General Science option and the Life Science option
For each option a minimum of 124 credits is required:
General Education: 45 credits
Writing/Speaking, Quantification, Social and Behavioral Sciences,
Arts, Humanities and Natural Sciences (15 of these 45 credits
are included in the requirements for the major).
Requirements for the Major: 94 credits
Including courses in:
Chemistry
Calculus
Biology
Foreign Language (0-8 credits to fulfill required foreign language
proficiency)
Course work

The Bachelor of Science in Science degree at Penn State York
provides an opportunity for students to complete the program
on a full-time or part-time basis. Many classes are offered both
in day and evening sessions.
