About

I am a practicing artist who lives and works in Pennsylvania. Since 1987, I have taught a variety of art courses at Penn State York and I show my work in regional and national exhibits. My work is tied to my surroundings and experiences; hence it is autobiographical. I like dualities- ambiguity and clarity; color and draftsmanship; manufactured and natural. I am currently working on a series of figure paintings, stencil paintings, interiors, and a series of narrative ink drawings. I attended the University of the Arts, earning a BFA in 1984 and I earned my MFA from Penn State in 1986.
