Penn State York Athletics look to start off another successful year. Penn State York soccer and women’s volleyball will begin practice and non -conference play in August.

The soccer team is coming off a Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) regular season championship and will look to continue its winning ways as PSUAC Coach of the Year Rich Chilcoat will look to incoming freshman for an added boost. The 2011 season was filled with many accolades including Player of The Year and Coach of the Year honors as well as several All- Academic awards. The soccer team will kick-off its season in August versus opponents Penn State Harrisburg and Briarcliffe College.

The Penn State York Women’s Volleyball team will also begin its campaign towards a successful PSUAC season in August. Second year Coach Amy Burgess will begin her season relying heavily on a new class of incoming freshman to lead the way to an anticipated successful 2012 season. The new look team will begin non-conference play in September versus Washington Adventist University.
