Communication Arts and Sciences (CAS) Major/Minor:

I could not agree more with communication scholar, John Stewart, when he says that the "quality of your life is directly related to the quality of your communication." Although I am admittedly bias, I believe the relationships we form with others through acts of communication give our everyday experiences the substance from which all else turns. Communication is the primary means by which we connect with the world around us and is, consequently, the primary way we find meaning in our lives. 

Whether you aim to study communication as a major, minor, or as an elective, I believe even one course has the potential to open your eyes to this often taken-for-granted aspect of our lives. I aim to teach you about how communication functions in our personal and professional lives and make that experience a rewarding one.
