SAMPLE FINAL EXAMS

The film titles listed below provide links to several Comm 150 final exams. These are sample exams. Your final--if you choose to take the final--will be on a film assigned toward the end of the semester. It will closely resemble the exams linked below.

Each sample exam provides students with a variety of questions. Instructions for taking these exams are identical:

This exam has ten questions. During the exam period, you are to write responses to four, and only four, of these questions. Focus your discussions. Provide each answer with a clear thesis. Support your assertions (your thesis statements) logically, in coherent, well-developed paragraphs that employ vocabulary acquired in your studies. Concentrate on scenes from your chosen film as illustrations of, and evidence for, your assertions. Regard each of your answers as a short version of the analytical paper assigned this semester.
