The librarian was just a shade above average. Nothing too striking, yet nothing too ugly either. A sort of blonde paleness ---an Amish look ---that set her above all the rest. Beautiful when naked, I thought. A certain innocent beauty that finds solace in being clothed.
"Well, we don't have any of the books that he wrote, but we do have this one with his name in the title. Maybe it'll help." Beautiful innocent blue eyes, the angel of the library. I watched her delicate eyelashes blink as she scrawled lightly on a notepad. I thanked her when she passed me the book.
"So are you working on a big project?" she asked.
"Yeah," I said. "Something like that."
