Biology Club at Penn State York
The Biology Club at Penn State York is a great way for students to learn more about biology and meet other students, professors, and scientists working in a variety of sectors. Students can find out how to major in science at Penn State York for all four years as well as discover what career opportunities are available for Science majors. The Biology Club sponsors field trips to interesting locations and occasionally sponsors guest speakers.   By joining, students will be able to keep abreast of current innovations in the biological sciences and have a lot of fun at the same time! More than one Penn State student now has a job because of someone they met at a Biology Club event. The Biology Club meets every other week in room 106 in the Main Classroom Building, from 12:10 - 12:50 p.m. You may attend as many or as few meetings as you like. The meeting dates for the spring 2010 semester are Thursday, January 14; Thursday, January 28; Thursday, February 11; Thursday, February 25; Thursday, March 18; Thursday, April 1; Thursday, April 15; Thursday, April 29. Hope to see you at each of these meetings, and be sure to bring a friend!
