Careers for Science Majors
|
|||
| The Bachelor of Science in Science degree can help prepare students for various careers in pharmaceutical, biotechnical, chemical, medical, and agricultural industries as well as prepare students for graduate school. The degree can also be tailored to meet the specific requirements of professional programs such as medical, dental, pharmacy, or law schools. Assistance to help graduating students enter the job market is available through the Advising and Career Center. Graduating students may also participate in several Penn State Career Day programs at various university locations, where many employers will be available for interviews. Recent graduates of our Science program are working at
the National Institutes of Health, the National Park Service, the United
States Department of Agriculture, and a local chemical company, to name but a few. Other students
have gone to graduate studies in biotechnology, anatomy, nursing, and medicine.
