My dad has some old British roadsters ('62 MGA and some late 50s Triumph TR3s) that he hopes to get restored some day. Then again, he's been saying that for the past 10 years. He also used to own the MB before giving it to me.
I started collecting Star Trek TNG comics several years ago. The DS9 comics came out about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, all Star Trek comics were discontinued for some reason. However, Marvel has just started producing a new line of Trek comics. The new comics include DS9, Voyager, and Starfleet Academy. TOS and TNG are not regulars.
I've also been amassing a huge collection of the recent Star Trek toys that have been released by Playmates. All those toys I had as a kid are now worth a fortune, and I threw it all away!
Other Sci-Fi shows I've really enoyed are Babylon 5, Space - Above and Beyond, and even Earth 2... NBC was stupid to put that on a Sunday night, and then repeatedly pre-empt it for other crap (no wonder it failed in the ratings). Fox did the same thing to SAAB. What a bunch of stupid a**holes!

I don't buy into the current popular idea of "gun control" as I believe it to be both irrational and ineffective. I have no objection against the prevention of criminals getting guns (ie: background checks when purchasing). But to ban certain types because some people don't like them (ie: "Assault Weapons" or semi-auto handguns) is in my opinion totally ludicrous. A gun isn't evil simply because it looks different from a "hunting" rifle, nor is the idea that "Assault Weapons" have no "legitemate use" valid.
Statistics will prove that most gun control laws are innefective. Why would a criminal obey another law preventing them from obtaining a gun? The end result is merely to harass law-abiding citizens, and to remove an object from our posession which "bothers" somebody. I say if you dont like it, TOUGH!
