Course Description

A first course presenting an intensive study utilizing a computer-assisted drafting and design system to obtain graphic solutions. It is recommended that students take EGT 101 - Technical Drawing prior to class enrollment.

Grading and Tests

Students will be expected to complete a variety of drawings of progressive competencies, difficulty and practical application in order to practice the techniques presently used by CAD Drafters, Technicians, and Engineers in the field. Students will be given teacher developed tests to evaluate their drafting accuracy, neatness, legibility, and presentation of drawings as they would meet the requirements of ANSI Drawing Standards, which relates to general national drawing standards as described in the course text.
