EGT 102 Intro To CAD

Course Requirements and Grading Policy

ATTENDANCE

Students are required to attend all classes. Failure to do so may be reflected in the final grade. Please see me if problems arise and other arrangements need to be made.


DRAWINGS - 40%

Students will complete all assigned drawings satisfactorily. Each assignment is due one ( 1 ) week from date assigned. A plot of the assignment will be submitted prior ro the end of class on the date due. Deductions will be assessed for drawing errors (size or shape), line over-runs, extraneous points or lines on print, or lack of appropriate appearance.


TESTS - 30%

Failure to complete all three ( 3 ) tests could constitute course failure. Tentative major test dates are listed on the syllabus. Pop Quizzes may be given during the course and will be considered extra credit. Pop quizzes will cover software usage.


REPORTS - 20%

There are four (4) reports assigned throughout the course. These include:


PORTFOLIO and RESUME - 10%

Students will develop and maintain a portfolio of their work as a "Work in Progress." This portfolio will be presented at the next to last class. It will include all course work and a copy of the resume, job description, and article reviews. These will be presented in such a manner that a prospective employer would be able to determine the employability of the individual.
