National Right to Life
http://www.nrlc.org/
The ultimate goal of the National Right to Life Committee is to restore legal protection to innocent human life. The primary interest of the National Right to Life Committee and its members has been the abortion controversy; however, it is also concerned with related matters of medical ethics which relate to the right to life issues of euthanasia and infanticide. The Committee does not have a position on issues such as contraception, sex education, capital punishment, and national defense.
In addition to maintaining a lobbying presence at the federal level, NRLC serves as a clearinghouse of information for its state affiliates and local chapters, its individual members, the press, and the public.

Animal Experimentation

Definition: antivivisection - Opposition to vivisection, that is, experiments on living animals, which is practised in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries on the grounds that it may result in discoveries of importance to medical science. Antivivisectionists argue that it is immoral to inflict pain on helpless creatures, and that it is unscientific because results achieved with animals may not be paralleled with human beings.

Selective Service Draft Registration Freeze Initiative Resolution Committee
http://www.draftresistance.org/
This site is a crime against the Military Selective Service Act. It advocates. We are specifically encouraging resistance to the registration laws of the United States, seeing registration as the necessary step toward conscription (the draft). We are what the Selective Service calls 'anti-war intellectuals.' We see the direct link between registration, the draft, and aggressive war. Remember, non- registration is the strategy to beat the draft. If enough of us refuse, there is nothing they can do!

U.S. Military: What happens during a Draft?
http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/bldraft.htm
Here is a brief overview of what would occur if the United States returned to a draft.

Military Draft
http://www.importanceofphilosophy.com/index.html?http://www.importanceofphilosophy.com/Bloody_MilitaryDraft.html
A Military draft is the practice of a government forcibly conscripting members of the population into the armed forces. This is a violation of the right to life, an initiation of force by the state against the individual, and a betrayal of the purpose of the government.
