Joyce N. Church's Librarian Links
http://www.norwich.net/~jochurch/
BOOKMARK IMMEDIATELY!
This site is so extensive that I don't know where to start. This is not a pretty as the LION but it is very practical, complete, and useful. The annotations of web sites listed sometimes leaves a great amount to be desired but the links are poignant, timely, and practical for all librarians. This site is catagorized and multiple paged. It even has some library clip art sites!

Ken Umbach's Award Winning Homepage
http://members.unlimited.net/~kumbach/
These links take you to some of the best resources on the Worldwide Web (by my definition!). Many of them will lead you to enormous selections of further resources, enough to provide a complete education. In a nutshell, this is "The Smart Person's Guide to the Internet." This guy is very arrogant about his site but he is right! It is a very detailed collection of informational web sites that are catagorized for ease of use. Library, literature, government - it is all there!

LION's goals are to create a comprehensive collection of Internet-based resources of interest to school librarians, to foster communication and resource sharing among school librarians, and to encourage creative use of the Internet in the educational process. This site contains a full compendium of information to fill the needs of every librarian. Collection development, including publishers and annotations, lesson plans, AUP's, policies in general, cataloging resources, professional resources for librarians on the net, disaster plans for libraries are only a small sampling of topics covered at this site. It is well worth the bookmark space!

Research Paper
(This isn't strictly library related but I felt that it is a great site with loads of practical and helpful info. Something to bookmark for staff and students!)
http://www.researchpaper.com/
This sounds like heresy but this is a great site for the school library. At this site you will find a collection of topics, ideas, and assistance for school related research projects. This site will help the librarian to generate ideas and some material for the paper writer. It also includes practical "how to" writing information for students.

School Librarian Links
BOOKMARK IMMEDIATELY!
http://www.flatland.com/~cyberian/
The all-in-one resource guide for school librarians and teachers. This is a pared down version of the LION but it is very useful! The Journals and Magazines area alone is worth the trip! A good collection of online library journals and magazines, library resources, information on current library trends (This is chocked full of NOW information and topics, eg. filters.)!
