Project Vision IV (Fall 1998) Notebook Computer Specifications
Here are the specifications for the Project Vision IV ThinkPad 380XD Notebook Computer:

The notebook computers allow Project Vision students to connect to the Penn Sate Internet backbone from the Vision Studio, at home and/or anywhere there is a phone connection. In addition most Vision classes are held in the technology classroom where students use Ethernet connections to "plug in" during class time.
The notebook computers are leased from the University at a cost of $500 per semester for four semesters. At the end of that time, a student is able to buy the system at "fair market value". As part of the lease agreement, Penn State York technicians provide technical support for the original hardware and software as needed.
